Gen 2 Privacy Policy

Effective October 9, 2026. Gen 2 is made by DD LLC ("we").

In short: Gen 2 runs on your own computer. Your mail, calendar, notes, contacts and drafts stay on your computer. We never receive them. We receive only a weekly report of usage counts and a daily license check, described below.

1. What Gen 2 is

Gen 2 is a desktop program that helps you manage business relationships. It reads your email and calendar, keeps notes on your computer, keeps your CRM up to date, and drafts messages for you to review and send yourself. Gen 2 never sends email on your behalf.

2. Information Gen 2 accesses on your computer

When you connect an account, Gen 2 accesses it directly from your computer:

This information is processed and stored only on your computer, in Gen 2's data folder. Sign-in tokens are kept in your computer's system keychain. We do not have access to any of it.

3. AI providers you choose

If you connect an AI service (for example Anthropic's Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini, or a model running on your own computer), Gen 2 sends that service the text needed for the task you asked for, such as parts of an email thread to draft a reply. That data goes directly from your computer to the provider you chose, under that provider's terms. It does not pass through us. You can use Gen 2 with no AI service, or with a model that runs entirely on your computer.

4. What we receive

These never include names, email addresses, company names, subjects, the text of any message, note, draft or CRM record, or any password or sign-in token. You can see every usage report exactly as sent in Gen 2's Settings.

If you choose to send us a problem report, you see its full contents before it is sent, and we use it only to fix Gen 2.

5. Google user data

Gen 2's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

6. Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays on your computer until you delete it. Gen 2 can export everything you have at any time. To stop Gen 2's access to your Google or Microsoft account, use Sign out in Gen 2's Settings, or remove Gen 2 from your Google Account (Security, Third-party apps) or Microsoft account (Privacy, Apps and services). We keep usage counts and license records for as long as you use Gen 2 and up to one year after.

7. Security

Gen 2 listens only on your own computer and connects only to the services you choose, plus our license service. Sign-in tokens are stored in your system keychain, never in plain files.

8. Changes and contact

We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new effective date. Questions: gen2.execHQ@gmail.com.
